At first glance, California's Prop.73 seems like the right thing. It requires a physician (or his or her representative) to notify the parent or legal guardian of a pregnant minor at least 48 hours before performing an abortion involving that minor.

CNN REPORTING CINDY SHEEHAN ARRESTED {UPDATE}

CNN just reported that Cindy Sheehan was arrested outside the white house.
Sheehan was the first taken into custody. She stood up and was led to a police vehicle while protesters chanted, "The whole world is watching."

This is my first diary, so please excuse any bizzare ramblings...
Am I the only person who has a bad feeling about spreading the victims of Katrina all over the country? I mean these poor people have been thru a hell that is by any standards horrific. Now they are being shipped to places as far away as California, Utah and Arizona. The public opening their cities, churches and homes shows the heart and soul of this country, but what possible good can be done by sending 2500 so far from everything they know. They've got families split up from one side of the country to the other.
